PRODUCTION NOTES

After small-lot fermentation, our 2018 Durif was aged in once and twice used French oak for 16 months. Our Durif is planted on the steepest hillside in our Coble Ranch Vineyard, increasing the flavor concentration in the grapes. This creates a bold flavor profile due to the increased skin to juice ratio which intensifies the tannin structure and color in the finished wine. Made exclusively with the Durif clone of Petite Sirah, this wine is a wonderful expression of the variety, and our terroir.
