2024 ZGB ROSÉ
TASTING NOTES
This Rosé shines with a delicate pale rosy hue, offering an inviting bouquet of fresh fruit and floral notes, lightly accented by a hint of citrus zest. Crisp and refreshing on the palate, it reveals vibrant flavors of ripe peach, apricot, and mandarin orange. The finish is juicy and clean, leaving a bright, lingering impression that beckons another sip.
PRODUCTION NOTES
This Rosé of ZGB is a blend of Zinfandel, Grenache, and Barbera. These varietals are planted throughout the Coble Ranch vineyard and bring expressions from the gravelly loam and clay loam soil types. The juice is procured via saignée from the three red varietals. Once fermentation was complete, the varietals were aged separately in neutral French oak barrels and blended before bottling.
